Ingredients
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole milk
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons sweet cream salted melted butter
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 12 1 inch thick slices of brioche bread
Directions
In a large bowl, sift all your dry ingredients together, flour, cinnamon, sugars and salt. Whisk eggs in a separate bowl and set aside. Add the milk, melted butter, vanilla and eggs to dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled seasoned griddle to medium-high heat. I normally use the griddle I cooked my bacon on (of course after draining off the excess bacon grease). Making two batches of 6, place bread slices in mixture one at a time to cover the entire slice of bread and place on the hot griddle. Flip after a couple of minutes and cook until golden brown.

Enjoy with the classic butter, powdered sugar and syrup combination or with any other toppings of your choice!
